
Dr. Wong’s career in oral healthcare spans multiple decades, and today, he divides his talents between caring for children at Barefield Pediatric Dentistry and serving as a faculty member of Baylor College of Dentistry. To learn more about his background, continue reading below.
After completing his doctorate at Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1990, Dr. Wong received a direct commission in the United States Air Force. Early in his military career, he completed advanced training in General Dentistry and successfully attained Diplomate status with the American Board of General Dentistry. His many military assignments include Tyndall AFB (FL), Lackland AFB (TX), Hill AFB (UT), Incirlik (TR), Azores (POR), Fairchild AFB (WA), and Spangdahlem AB (DE). In 2009, he completed a post-doctorate pediatric dentistry training program at Baylor College of Dentistry and subsequently earned Diplomate status with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. In 2012, his 22 years of honorable service in the United States Air Force came to an end.

Dr. Wong and his wife Dina have four children named Caleb, Elizabeth, Joshua, and Matthew. In his free time, he enjoys being with family and serving as an active member of Redeemer Presbyterian Church and McKinney’s Boy Scout Troop 496.
