Giving Children a Lifetime of Healthy Smiles
Welcome to our dental practice! We appreciate the opportunity to give your child one-on-one attention for a positive, successful dental care experience.
Preparing Your Child for a First Dental Visit
Tell your child about the upcoming visit. Talk about how fun and important it is to take care of your smile. Let your child know that Dr. Donna will explain everything that happens and answer all questions. Refrain from using words that may cause unnecessary fear, such as needle, shot, drill, pull, or hurt.
Your Child’s Exam
Your first visit to our office will take 30 minutes to an hour. Please bring completed new patient forms with you. While your child enjoys our entertaining waiting area, our front-office personnel will go over your paperwork and talk with you about the reasons for your child’s visit.
Dr. Donna or one of our associates will perform a gentle, yet thorough, examination of your child’s teeth, gums, and bite. We may take digital X-rays for a comprehensive view of teeth and supporting structures. Our enthusiastic staff will go above and beyond to put your child at ease and make the visit fun. Your child will leave with a goodie bag full of age-appropriate hygiene tools and a prize from our treasure box or one of our signature animal-twist balloons.
We accept cash, checks, most major credit cards, and selected insurance plans. Third party financing, often at low or no interest for qualified applicants, is available through CareCredit. Please see their website for details.
Our front-office staff will accept your co-pay or deductible. They electronically file insurance claims and work with insurance companies to maximize patient benefits.
